St Pauls inside

St Paul's Church, Preston, Paignton

St Paul's sits neatly between Paignton and Torquay - it's the church with the huge red tower and illuminated Cross at night, overlooking The Bay.

Some say that ships use the cross to navigate at night and as Christians, we believe that The Cross is vital to help us navigate through life.

It symbolises the deepest expression of God's love for each one of us.

Jesus is at the centre of our teaching, worship, fellowship and practical concern, and we seek to make Him the centre of all that we do. We are always delighted to welcome new people to our church - and that includes you!

We meet twice for Services on Sundays. At 8.00am we celebrate Communion using the Book of Common Prayer. It has traditional language but many find it a helpful, quiet service to draw near to God and reflect on the wonderful words written so long ago.

Our main morning service is at 9.30am, with Communion on the first and third Sundays in the month.

Church is not just for Sundays though and we have many things going on in the week.  There are groups meeting for adults and children on the church premises and in homes, and the halls are used extensively for church and community events.

If you have been wondering about God and would like the chance to explore Christianity then why not come along - you would be very welcome.

Perhaps you are new to the area, visiting, or on holiday, if so we would love to see you.

If you are looking for a place of worship, enquiring about the Christian Faith, looking for activities for yourself or your children - whatever your reason for coming - we would love to meet you.
